Weekly Room Rotation:

CREATIVE ECONOMY NATIONS — we will invite well-informed or personally experienced guest speakers to speak and share on one or a group case study nations in each session.

CREATIVE x BUSINESS — a discussion on the ‘marrying of smart business approach to creative industries’ but also ‘what creative industries can bring to conventional businesses’.

CREATIVE ECONOMY JOURNEYS — personal success stories (or precautionary tales) with a social, socio-economic or financial aspect as well.

CREATIVE ECONOMY CHATTER — random chats, sharing, pondering and networking about work, ideas and initiatives in this area.

What’s a CREATIVE PIVOT then?
Perhaps... that’s when a creative activity, business or industry... is taken to another wholly unexpected, often accelerated or enhanced level — goes viral, starts a trend, makes a deeper impact, becomes more than the sum of all of its moving parts, becomes the zeitgeist of the moment.

A creative activity, business or industry can simply meet and feed an existing demand... or it could also drive new activity, initiatives... cultivate new interests, new demand... and have a transformative effect at a social, financial or economic level... allowing for more — previously nonexistent — independence, diversity or well-being within the communities it touches.
