Outspoken is an online platform where we will be having the difficult conversations. A platform for us to educate ourselves and others. Outspoken is computed to providing diverse and inclusive spaces that are fundamentally routed on respect and understanding. Here, we LISTEN. We LEARN. We DO BETTER.
NO talking over people! : This is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy. You will be removed from the room if you talk over another person. You will be BANNED from the club if you are a repeat offender.
Show respect: The conversations we will be having won’t be easy, and you won’t always agree with what people are saying but we will be respectful for everyone’s opinions.
Exercise empathy and understanding : People will be sharing triggering and potentially traumatic experiences and we WILL display empathy and understanding. Being sensitive to the information being shared.
