Uniting female leaders in Japan, Asia, and beyond to discuss women’s issues and to promote the importance of education for a more gender equal world!

✅WHO WE ARE
We support Asian University for Women, a scholarship University in Bangladesh, elevating young women who are breaking stereotypes and to make a difference in society.
As the AUW Japan Support Committee, we drive significant fundraising efforts, provide mentorship and internship opportunities to students, and promote public awareness of AUW’s mission to empower young women to become today’s leaders and change makers in Asia.

✅OUR MISSION
To uplift the next generation of female leaders by increasing access to tertiary education for women in developing countries in Asia and the MIddle East; To educate and increase awareness by discussing current and global issues still challenging these women today. We are hoping to establish a network of like-minded “change the world” types of people to support and empower women and each other.

Kathy Pike, MD is a Professor Of Psychology and Director, Columbia University Global Mental Health Program. Tiffany Cone, Ph.D is Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology and Corrdinator of the Core Program at AUW.
