Clubhouse needs a better use case.

This is an attempt to make one.

What if I told you Clubhouse can be fun, but also used to break ice & network? 😊 🖖

🖖This is a simplified classic version of Mafia - 9 civilians, 1 Mafia. Keeping it simple for easier participation.

The session will be an open room, and there will be an audience, but not participate in the actual game. (Think Twitch 😉)

🖖How it starts:
✅ The game starts at an assigned time - all participants are expected to be on time, and read the document above thoroughly.
✅The moderator assigns one person to be the Mafia (happens outside of Clubhouse)
✅The moderator gives one opaque clue to kickstart conversations. This is not as obvious, or direct, but enough to start deductions, and build consensus to find out who the Mafia is.
✅As soon as the moderator gives the clue, folks start with a round of introductions. Keep it simple, but please explain. (Cues: What you do, where you work, your passions, few pet peeves, hobbies you have… - remember, it’s also to network & explain who you are)
✅After introductions, the floor is open; folks can start discussing & try to deduce the Mafia based on the clue the moderator gave.
✅Prelim voting: The moderator calls for a quick vote to see if there’s consensus in the room. If there is - we ask the person who is voted out to present their case on why they're not the culprit (mafia)
✅Another round of discussions to see if the concerned person has managed to sway minds 😂
✅Final vote.
✅If the Mafia survives, the game carries on.
✅For the Mafia: Whatsapp/Twitter DM the Moderator on who you want to kill next 😉

🎭Etiquette:
✅ alright to have chaos and multiple people talking, but please be polite and civil.
✅The idea is not simply to win, but to talk to people, have fun, lighten up.
✅If you have a point to make and are not getting a chance to speak, mute and unmute the mic repeatedly - this will get the Moderators’ attention, who will give you a chance to speak. But use sparingly please. 🙏
✅If the moderator mutes you, please don’t unmute yourself immediately.
✅When the moderator calls for silence, please abide. That’s the only way to maintain order
