Those who presume their anchor is unyielding - thrive, while those who fail at that simple task, plummet.

When it comes to presuming our anchor is unyielding, there is no clear delineation along monetary lines, nor does having a gift, a skill, an ability, a physical attractiveness or even a sense of purpose, truly determine those who will be imbued with inner security, and peace of mind.

Instead, lines of division exist rather arbitrarily, nestled in simply having a feeling of knowing.

If we presuppose our worth and our place is bestowed upon us, by the hand of god or our creators, then it is in truly believing those teachings that we assume to know that reason, and thrive.

However, when that sacred bond is either broken or never built, when those godless children attempt to find their place, those souls are most easily lost. If we find purpose simply in a task, that is not unyielding – it either dissolves when the task is complete, or requires energy to continuously feed that fire, and in the absence of that effort, the warmth amassed dissipates.

However, if instead we find our anchor, we are no longer looking for any port in the storm. Look at a mirror and smile back 🙂
