A little about myself: I'm a Chinese-Jamaican storyboard artist and I absolutely love learning languages-- in particular Cantonese. Cantonese is my heritage language, but because the language is so often orally passed down, it can be hard to learn. One of the ways I'm finding practicing this language is getting the chance to speak with others! Whether you're a CBC/ABC like myself wanting to reconnect with Cantonese, from the Chinese diaspora, or are someone interested in learning the language, I welcome you to the group!!

This group is strictly against racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, colourism, ableism and all the other isms that make others feel unwelcomed. This is a safe space.

I hope you all enjoy participating in the group!! I'm not going to be heavily moderating the group, and anyone can start a room to chat. My hopes is that people connect with one another and get a chance to practice Cantonese!
