Description
A place to enhance listening skills and experience “really” being heard
Respect: Demonstrate deep respect for every individual in the room - that means not imposing advice but rather ask for permission to offer thoughts (ideas, alternatives)
Allow people to be heard: Listen intently, explore what has been said, allow the speaker to dig deeper into what they have shared… ensure that they leave with the sense that they have REALLY been heard
Hone your listening skills: Ask yourself on the way out of the room whether you have enhanced your listening skills… If not, come back and try harder (listen louder 😎)
