This group is dedicated to distinguishing the differences between the various sections of the political left ranging from American Democratic Party style neo-liberalism to Nordic Social democracy to Soviet style communism to Anarcho-Primitivism in the hopes of clearing misconceptions and misinformation regarding the subject. In time this group will hopefully be used as a community network so that people may enact change in the real world by way of organizing in person, creating petitions, writing and submitting bills for legislation and to spread information and media concerning: Climate change/Green new deal, social justice, economic reform, labor issues, fiscal education, mental health infrastructure, police reform and more. Another goal of this group is as leftists to try and distance ourselves from identity politics and embrace universal economic political strategies and solutions in order to make real political gains and shift the Overton window (the range of political acceptability). No Trolls or disingenuous bad actors, if you’re coming with an opposing view and if you are genuine in your beliefs, concerned about truth and willing to debate in good faith you too are welcome.
