Description

This is a place for African people and the diaspora to connect and discuss topics relevant to our lives and experiences from a global perspective, build community, and learn languages. We believe language and nationality should never be the reason for black people to not connect with one another, therefore we aim to promote multilingual dialogues and help each other learn.

We respect all black lives. : No sexism, colorism, transphobia, homophobia, classism, ableism, or xenophobia of any kind is allowed. Please reach out to us by email if you feel targeted or not safe at any point.
We are supportive : Everyone is here to learn and grow. We are at different levels when it comes to languages and knowing the histories of other black communities outside our own. Be respectful, kind, and patient.
This is a black space : We center unambiguous black people. Nonblack people who seek membership must speak a priority language and willing to teach it, or make reacurring monetary contributions. Email us if this is you.
