Coming Home : Safe Spaces🏡 ✨

It’s a space where brave souls dare to dialogue about healing from growing up in organized religion as Asian & Asian Pacific Islander American (all ethnicities are welcome) and from the trauma of purity culture. Our intention is to create safe and brave spaces and to welcome home into a digital community to all of the ones that had ever felt lost, dirty, broken and unwhole because of their purity upbringing. It’s time to come home to ourselves. 🏠

This a positive, affirming brave space for vulnerability as we journey in our identities with sexuality, faith deconstruction and decolonization out of organized religion (ex-vangelicals), patriarchy, racism, and nonwhite and Asian+ identity. There is no right or wrong way to be on this journey - please be respectful towards one another. All are welcome to share and learn together to create a more loving and compassionate world. Everyone deserves a safe and brave space where they can be authentically themselves without reservation or hesitation or oppression. 🥰

We are inspired by all of you and created a little logo for our clubhouse. With Lily of the Valley, a rhombus, triangle and pentagon. The lily of the valley symbolizes the return of happiness, triangle being the strongest shape architecturally and grounding, the rhombus to remind us we are all like diamond in the rough, extremely resilient just like all of us. The pentagon symbolizing home. So the Lily transcends, expanding beyond these shapes. And thus the same for us, may that return of happiness be grounded, resilient and found by coming home not to a tangible house but to ourselves. Be present and come home to ourselves. You are divine. ✨

And let it be expand even beyond ourselves to our community! Let it be so! 🌿

Choose Compassion: There will be vulnerable stories shared and possibly viewpoints very different from your own. Choose compassion as you engage in these conversations.
Privacy is Imporant: Everything shared in the room stays in the room. If you want to quote someone on another platform, please check with them to make sure you have consent.
