In celebration of Black History Month 2022, I'm proud to be launching a brand new project called "Black History, Black Books". As part of the project, I will be hosting 4 book discussions on excerpts of books by Black authors. The sessions will be on Tuesdays at 9:30am ET. The first session will be on February 8th.
For the first session, we will be discussing Imani Perry's new book "South to America". We will cover the 1st 100 pages of the book (A Note from the Author, Introduction and I. Origin Stories).
To create organizational cultures that are truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive, where people also feel they belong, we must all start individually with a sense of curiosity about people, places, their culture and their customs, habits and beliefs. Starting next week, it is my goal to spark some of that curiosity for you -- clients, future clients, colleagues, friends and beyond. I hope you will join us!
