The Club no parents wants to be a part of...yet here we are! This Club is to help, support and encourage other bereaved parents.
Parents To Angels is a place you can share your story with other parents that have lost a child.
The love for our child(ren) never dies, even though it is taboo to talk about a child who has passed away, I hope parents like myself get comfortable being uncomfortable talking more openly about the loss we have experienced.
I once heard: “Get to know a bereaved parent. You will be thankful you did.”
Bereaved parents share an unspeakable bond. We understand each other on a deeper level. We empathize because we know why our eyes are swollen and red, why our voice trembles when speaking, why we can’t sleep, why we can’t get out of bed, why we look away when someone speaks to us. We are one in the same.
As a parent who has lost a child, we look for answers. We search for comfort in others who have experienced a similar loss. We want to know that what we are going through is normal. We are looking for the slightest proof of hope. When will the pain end? How am I going to survive? Why did my child die?
I want to encourage you to tell your story.
