This started as a weekly Lunch Hour Q&A where people from DC, Maryland, and Virginia came together to discuss ways to navigate the District (DMV): Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Job Hunting, Investing, Charity, Music, Art, Venture Capital, you name it. The purpose of this club is to build meaningful local contacts, help fellow community members, and receive help where you need it most. Feel encouraged to host rooms about specific topics. Moderators are to take ownership over the room and ensure rules are being followed. Share the limelight and refrain from actively selling. This is a value oriented community. #GiveAndGrow
Value Focused: We are here to help people or receive help. Let’s keep that in mind. This should be a safe place where people from diverse backgrounds can come discuss what they are doing and ask for help.
Know Your Game: Only give advise if you have credibility. We all love to hear ourselves talk but let’s make sure we remember to stay in our lane as to not lead our friends and community members down the wrong path.
