English Table-ໂຕະອັງກິດ 📖

It’s a space for all of you to practice English Speaking in any topics. For instance, entertainment, sports, music, love, life, and work, etc. Besides, learn and share about useful English words/sentences.
All of participants might be at different level of English, but it’s definately fine. We can learn from each other because it’s totally ok to make a mistake.
📌🕛Every Weekend at 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.
We encourage all LAO people to speak out and have fun with us.

Story behind the “English Table”:
1. The idea originally from the English Center at “East Tennessee State University” that one of the Moderator had attended in 2016. The “English Table” was created to support international students to speak out so they would have a chance to develop their English Skills. The conversation started to be very simple and easy in order for anyone feels comfortable to communicate as much as possible in English.
2. Back to the “Faculty of Economics and Business Management”, the National University of Laos after this idea of “English Table” was raised and discussed. The students at “Career Counselling Office” would like to implement this kind of activity, but there was no room and no sufficient time to conduct yet.

Therefore, when the lockdown situation occurred, we would like to bring this idea back to live and create space for LAO people, particularly LAO students to improve their English speaking. So, come and have fun with us.
