As Delusionists, we attempt to make sense of shared cultural delusions through reframing. ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ At best we can hope to be less wrong. Our passion, however, is never in doubt. ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ ▪️ ▫️ ▫️ A Delusuonist understands the map is not the terrain: reality is too complex to fit in our head, so we construct (and test) higher quality models with each iteration of playful conversation.
Own your delusions: Remember that realty cannot fit into your head so you can only have imperfect models of it to work with
Allow others their own delusions: Remember all delusions are useful. Some are objectively so. Society and science runs on shared delusion.
Gift psychological safety to all: Ask clarifying questions. Explore alternative framing through the eyes of other speakers. Remember oral pleasure is a gift best experienced in allowing others to share their words freely.
