The Butterfly Affect on Clubhouse

We are fully aware the commonly known phenomenon is called the “Butterfly Effect”. However, we chose to use the word “Affect” for two reasons. First, the room title Butterfly Effect was already taken.😜 But we are grateful for this as it caused us to dig deeper to figure out how we could still use the name. So...we looked up the definition of the word Affect and compared it to the definition of Effect. What we discovered made our hearts sing. Affect is a verb which implies action. Effect is a noun that implies something is the result of another. Living at “Affect” essentially means we acknowledge we live a life of action-a life at cause, not effect. We “get to” cause change in our lives much like the caterpillar does when he/she chooses to surrender to the cocoon.
