MISSION:
The vision within the mission is to roll out the initiative / concept on an global scale by building communities with participants worldwide helping address SDGs 1 & 2. CALM will be developed & utilise an App whereby supporters can coordinate a central location to deliver home cooked meals with a smile to those less fortunate across the globe. —————————————————- Cook A Little More was originally birthed in 2014 while living in Atlanta. Going downtown and always being approached by homeless people for coins / change disturbed my core and tugged my spirit.

I would always try and help one or two by taking them into a restaurant and buy them a meal instead of leaving them cash which could be used for a variety of things that wouldn’t have benefited them.

However, helping just one or two was never enough and ultimately upon leaving, I was still left with a feeling of emptiness, always with a desire to do more.

Then ‘eureka’ it occurred to me….. Rather than the one or two a week mouths being fed, if I was to buy ingredients and some food containers, by simply Cooking A Little More, I could 10x and feed a dozen people for literally the same amount of money; and so CALM Kitchen was born - providing home cooked meals with a smile for free to the less fortunate.
