A weekly safe space for Black mothers to come together and share their experiences. We’re transparent that this journey isn’t sunshine and lollipops. We use this community to network, vent, laugh and shed light on issues we’ve all experienced.
Respectful of all forms of mothering : Be mindful of pronouns, identities and projecting the ideology of patriarchal family. Most of are moms are single, adopted,blended and even trans/ non binary/gender neutral. Ask, do not assume.
Respectfully, disrespectful : This is a space of vulnerability, shared trauma and support. If myself or a moderator finds that harm is being inflicted we will respectfully remove you.
Don’t apologize : We have children and are always in close proximity to them. We expect to hear crying, yelling and tantrums. This is the reality of mothering.
