Thank you 🙏🏼 for adventuring into our Beautiful People and Words Club. ☺️


::::::We share poems to inspire one another to feel uplifted 😊, all the facets of love ❤️ or to seek and explore love/beauty ✨ within. This is a space where we ❌do not ❌ share poems that need trigger warnings or unprocessed trauma to assault/rape/violence. We are not licensed and as sensitive as 🐌 without shells 🐚. :::::::::

🗓Monday and Friday
⏰8:30 pm central

Mondays are dedicated to improvisational word/poetry/creative collaborative flow games.
This isn’t your average improv room-this is a practice of moving the mind out of the way, to experience creative flow. It’s a wonderful way to practice acceptance of others and ourselves.

Friday’s are a poetry ⭕️ we share, listen and briefly encourage/comment to each other’s poems.

Our Reset:
In order to be respectful of people’s ⏰ time:

We stop 🛑 Hand 🖐 raising at 9:00 pm central (we encourage you to get here sooner) ☺️

🚦⏲⏳Each person on stage is allocated a cup ☕️ of 3-5 minutes maximum.

A moderator will let you know when the cup ☕️ is full ☺️. ⌛️

Within the given 3-5 minute cup☕️, the poet reads their 📝poem-listeners are given the chance to comment 🗣 in time remaining 🍿 popcorn style!

If time runs out, listeners 👂 are encouraged to privately DM 💐 comments/sentiments or voice memo the poets.

If there is extra time🕛 in the hour, after all poets on stage have shared, time ⌛️ can be allocated to invite late poets to share poetry or open conversation.

💖 Acceptance: Come with an open 🧠 and 💜 This isn’t a space to intently change people, or make others experience hurt, guilt or feeling bad. This is a space to encourage empathy, love, compassion & human connection.
