Remote Ecologist on Clubhouse

Description

We are discussing how we can best serve as a "virtual academic department" for scientists. As science is experiencing a great deal of attrition out of research, we aim to provide a bridge from position to position and an on-ramp back into science. This could mean folks are with us year-over-year and build out a long-term collaborative project, and others will be able to use our services to keep their projects going, stay eligible for grants, and have a community that will serve them after they find a full-time position somewhere else. We are primarily focused on marine, aquatic, and terrestrial ecology and conservation for now, but aim to help in any way we can to help retain scientists of all backgrounds, in all stages, from newly-minted, to newly-retired. We all have a way to contribute to the advancement of science, and we serve as a means to further connection and collaboration.
