Once upon a time during a time which feels like yesterday, two young thespians were on the move. They got on their bikes, entered the future as the destination and embarked on their own journeys moving from one stage to another, both physically and metaphorically.

Although they were on two distinct paths, somewhere out there, someone had written a collision in their names. These two young thespians crossed each other’s paths one more time and “Kids, this is where this beautiful story starts.”

Piece of Paper Productions is Bangalore’s first experimental theater production house. POP was founded in April, 2019 and turned 2 this year. In these 2 years, POP has staged 8 theatrical productions over many stages across Bangalore including Rangashankara, and has ventured into the digital world with short films. Our recent most successful show was ‘The Ides of July’ , which housed about 100 artists. Amidst the pandemic, we safely produced 17 short films in a span of one month, a few of which premiered on Bookmyshow and later released on Youtube. POP today has housed around 400 artists and continues to collaborate with artists out there who have a story to share.
