Ex-Muslims are people who were raised as Muslims or converted to Islam and later renounced the religion. -There is no implicit or explicit guarantee of fairness towards all viewpoints. -Unless specifically mentioned, the purpose of the rooms hosted on behalf of the club is to share/discuss your/others’ lived experience as an ex-muslim and not necessarily a debate/argument room. (-although it may/will often veer in that direction). -From a pragmatic/practical viewpoint, the rooms should NOT be considered as a safe space, as there could be real life unintended consequences (depending on the region/country/culture/society) that does not allow dissent. So PLEASE be cognizant of that and use your judgment and take it into consideration when speaking. -Finally, please refrain from bashing Islam/any religious or non-religious beliefs; while beliefs are open to question and criticism, we would kindly request to hold your opinion on judging others.
