Description

Debate/Discussion with a standard, mutual or universal agreement to facilitate structure & order between two or more discussants.

Only serious, disciplined speakers invited. Disorderlies will be respectfully dismissed & removed.

As always, it is my personal conviction to uphold the human dignity of every individual in good will, good faith & unconditional positive regard. Every admin/mod, including myself, are to be held to these value standards by all. By any claimants 3 or greater, if any admin/mod is considered to be out of balance with any value or principle of reason, herein stated or otherwise, please, PM me, Lone Autostotle Mann, to bring forth your case before myself & a jury of our members. If a consensus is reached, action will be taken, including but not limited to, a community hearing, revision of standards of conduct, removal of admin/mod entrustment, etc.

I, personally, want to welcome all with commitments to discipline, dignity & reason.

Remember,

"Every human thought, however distorted, is some reflection of reality. Every intent of human connection is the union of egos & consciousness." - Lonnie(Lone) Autostotle Mann(CH Admin)

“Is there any point in public debate in a society where hardly anyone has been taught how to think, while millions have been taught what to think?” – Peter Hitchens

“Too many people get away with truly awful ‘reasoning’, not because what they are arguing happens to be true, but because they are in the majority.” – Ellie Rose McKee

“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum — even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there's free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate.”
― Noam Chomsky
