The only club on clubhouse to promote and train in the art of debate.

We are a club for learning, training, judging, and performing in structured debate.

The debate done here is in the public/political and academic tradition.

All the mods and judges are profession debaters or trained by pro coaches.

All debates follow formal debate rules: The rules for the debate will be clearly spelled our before the round starts. Please read and follow the rules for the round. There will be wins and losses, that is what makes debate fun! Embrace it
No bigotry what so ever! Triggering discussion may occur.: There are others places for toxic ad hominem attacks. This is not one! We do not steer away from controversy or challenging topics. Assume blanket trigger warnings for all rounds and lessons.
Expect rigorous and challenging environment and debates: There will be high caliber quality debate. No debate round is ever perfect! Be prepared for honest constructive feedback if you choose to debate. Feel free to learn and watch until ready!
