Description

Council for International African Fashion Education (CIAFE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the standards of fashion education in Africa to close the knowledge and skill gap as well as afford an opportunity to future talent while contributing to the economic growth.

CIAFE aims to support the development of decolonisation of the fashion curriculum within European and North American institutions as well as integrate the fashion industry and academia.

CIAFE intends to do so by making that educators are always up to date with the latest information despite the change in technological advancements, macro-environmental changes as well as cultural influences. Our core functions as an organisation include research, training and Workshops, resources, the advisory board as well as initiatives and Mentoring.
