In 2014, the Obama Administration hosted the first ever White House Travel Bloggers Summit on Study Abroad & Global Citizenship for a strategy session and discussion with top White House officials.  The goal was to increase the number of students from the United States studying abroad annually.

This established community of digital storytellers, celebrities, influencers and private sector travel leaders are committed to expanding study abroad opportunities around the world for all students.

During these discussions, we want to convene dynamic leaders in the travel industry who are ready to partner, support, and amplify positive steps that the public and private sector are taking to develop the next generation of global citizens.
