Adulting in our 20’s to Adulting in our 30’s went from Grown & Sexy to Grown & Messy AF... real quick. We’re talking about ALL of it — Making power moves, securing the bag, or jumping the broom (or not) and still being MESSY AF. We’re finding humor, commonality, and the V word (vulnerability:-) in the mess. The stories are real, the people in them are even realer. What’s not real, is you being the only one going through some messy shit. Cause like it or not, we’re all messy AF — so, join the club and let’s talk through it to work through it. Keep the judgement out the room and only bring your raw, real and messy self.
Embrace the Messy: If you can’t keep it 💯 about when you’re not 100, this isn’t the group for you. Only Messy-holics accepted. You need to be able to say “Hi, I’m Janet/Jaheem Doe, and I’m Grown & Messy”
Drop the judgement : We aren’t talking AT people. We’re talking with people. Shit, we’re kind of talking to ourselves. We’ve all been in some messy stuff. So drop the judgment.
