Welcome to Support Group! This is a safe place to discuss mental health. We will discuss various topics regarding mental health, some of the topics are Depression, anxiety, PTSD, abuse and much more. We will start the room by having a person share their story, the struggles they have faced, what they have learned and the coping mechanisms they have adopted to improve their life. This will take place for about 10-15 minutes. Once the speaker is done sharing, other people in the room can now share their story, speak on whatever they’re feeling or wish to share. During this time no questions will be asked and no judgment or opinions will be given to the person sharing. This is done to ensure people get the most out of their time in the room. When a person focuses on their feelings and their experience, it is a lot more therapeutic and beneficial. The last 10 mins will be reserved for questions or anything else the participants wish to discuss. If you would like to be the guest speaker regarding any upcoming topics, please do let me know! All stories & experiences are welcomed and encouraged. 🙏🏼
