Description
Stop the Demand Project is a 501c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking through educational content.
As innovation continues, human traffickers are finding new ways to exploit modern-day technology. In America, the average age a teen is trafficked is 12-14 years old. Additionally, 40% of child sex trafficking victims in America are sold into the sex-trade by a family member.
With over 90% of Generation Z on social media, we see an opportunity to use technology for good.
At Stop the Demand Project, our vision is to create a hub for resources. Through our platform, we are able to share statistics, survivor stories, volunteer opportunities, and more.
