Description

This group was created to address why more than 70% of blind and visually impaired adults are unemployed. They are willing, wanting, and well-trained enough to work, but are not readily given the opportunity to prove themselves. Let’s break down these barriers together. We will work if we are only given a chance to prove ourselves.
be kind!: If you do not agree with someone else’s point of you, then just agree to disagree. No bullying, name-calling, threatening, etc. will be allowed!
Be supportive: We are all here for a common purpose, we want to work! No matter where you are in your employment journey, never demean or degrade anyone else for where they are on their path.
Be willing to share!: If you find or know of any employment opportunities that someone may be interested in, please don’t hesitate to share it. We want to work, and are willing to work.
