Welcome to the Nihon Ken Club!

Here we will discuss all things about all the 6 native japanese breeds:

Akita
Hokkaido
Kai Ken
Kishu
Shikoku
Shiba

We are looking for representatives of each breed right now (except for the akita and shiba, which are taken) so breeders or very knowledgeable owners of each breed are very welcome!

All of these breeds are special and need protection, we do not encourage mixes.

The rules are simple: keep this club clean, organized and respectful.

Preserve the breed: Stick to the breed standard. These are ancient dogs. Respect that and don’t encourage mixes.
Be courteous : Respect others and other peoples opinion on everything dog related such as training methods or food options.
Keep the rooms clean: Keep them inside of the club theme. No ads of any sort.
