Description

War, inter community conflict, Civil Unrest and Environmental of refugees from DRC, South Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea and Sudan. Those displaced persons and the Ugandans themselves in the communities and regions working to support, care for and integrate them are suffering incredible hardships. These include: 

A cholera outbreak due to dirty water and poor sanitation conditions with many health implications. 

Extreme food shortages leading to famine and further unrest. 

Lack of access to education and job opportunities. 

The Uganda's Humanitarian Help Club on Clubhouse has four primary objectives. 

1 / Call for Help

To call for diaspora and international help from those with skills, ability, funding connections and passion for the refugees in Uganda and the host community as well Ugandans. 

2 / Direct Assitance

Specifically we want to: 

- Help raise awareness and understanding of the principles and laws of hygiene to be observed, 

- Put together teams and resources in order to chlorinate water on the tracks coming from Lake Nakivale and elsewhere.  

- Take care of the disinfection of refugee homes house by house.

- Create a children’s feeding and education program. 

3 / Give Hope in Action

- Teach skills

- Create jobs

- Fight against child marriage 

- Economic empowerment 

- Drive integrated community cohesion and a positive entrepreneurial mindset. 

4 / Educate the World on the Resourcefulness of Africans living through hardship.

- Create content to show people the way we have done, together and give hope and thanks back to the world.
