This is a safe space to explore and celebrate all the ways in which we use our voices to express our truth and tell our stories. Conversations will center around the all the varying elements that influence and shape our voices, from vocal-technical, to mental, to physical, to environmental, to emotional, and beyond. Here, we are firm believers that instinct is your best teacher, and that there are many right ways to sing, speak, and vocally express yourself healthily. Come here for encouragement, thoughtful discourse with technically knowledgeable and curious voice teachers, and a safe place to test out the full range of wonderful noises your voice can healthily make. Be Kind: Treat others as you want to be treated. Respect everyone’s story as you would want them to respect yours. Cultivate an open heart, an open mind, and a genuine desire to see others succeed.
Be Curious: There is more that we don’t know about how the human voice works than what we know. Stay joyfully undogmatic and open to new vocal perspectives.
Be Constructive: At some point, you may be asked or inspired to offer critique or advice. When that time comes, deliver it from a place of love.
