Terrible Pets are a group of human-like animals with relatable traumas, wrapped in absurdism, that brought them to Animals Anonymous, an emotional support camp in the woods.

They’re supposed to be unpacking their trauma and neuroses, but mostly they just trigger each other with their sass and sardonicism.

It’s a dark comedy that puts a mirror up to the stresses of modern life. Trauma is trendy. Online life is triggering and overwhelming. Twitter can be awful and hilarious at once. Fundamentally they each feel alone, like everyone but them has it together, but over time they come to find kinship in each other.

———WHO WHAT WHY ARE THE POTATOES———
Potatoes are a major part of our world. While the Terrible Pets are the true protagonists, the Potatoes are saucy little spuds who live around the camp — spying, observing, reporting, scheming, and judging the goings on of the TPs. They are low to the ground—feet level—and tend to see new camp participants that way, feet first. They love the smell of feet, it reminds them of childhood in the dirt.
