Live sessions modelled upon GIOdynamics’ (Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra) playful yet sonically intense freestyle nights. Up to six improvisers on the stage + the audience. Rotating members/groups. Spontaneous song, gibberish, 🎶, poetry, spoken word, rap, folk, a cappella, extended vocal techniques, found objects, gesture, tuning in, listening. Come along for a unique live CH experience...
Up to six on the stage at any one time : Mods will revolve the groups who play for ten mins. If you want to come on stage, raise your hand and I’ll bring you up.
Listen : We’re aiming for intention, participation, and communal experience over sound quality, so there’s no need for special audio equipment. Your phone mic is fine.
No need to announce your name before you speak: Use your intuition to respond to the sounds, fill in the gaps, merge with the other players.
