Description
Gifted Teachers awaken the genius that is already inside of Black Youth. We notice the over-diagnosis of African American youth in Special Education. We also notice the under-diagnosis of African American youth in Gifted and Talented Education. We share, create, and publish curriculum that removes the barriers for all learners in the classroom, after school program, and at home.
Genius-Based Curriculum has four impactful pillars. We believe in Social Justice, Depth of Knowledge, Creative Problem Solving, and Social Emotional Intelligence. We create lessons with 5 learners in mind: Primary Genius, Competitive Genius, Comical Genius, Opinionated Genius, and Reserved Genius.
