✨Our purpose is to create a welcoming environment for everybody from the Republic of Mauritius and from the diaspora to connect, share and learn from one another.✨

We encourage members to engage in a variety of topics related to Mauritius and its residents, and to the Mauritian diaspora including cultures, languages, history, food, music, the Séga dance, traditions, festivals, society, identity, education, architecture, travel, tourism, immigrant stories, life abroad, current events, social issues, the economy, politics, business and entrepreneurship, etc.

We welcome the use of all languages spoken in Mauritius in the rooms. For those who have been living abroad for several years and miss speaking Creole, this is the perfect opportunity to practice with Mauritian residents and learn new Creole slangs.
