時光拉回到1986年美國舊金山海岸的沙灘-火人祭的發源地，它隨後移駕到了內華達州一個名叫黑石沙漠的神秘地帶，一群人首次展開了一場別開生面的年度慶祝活動。
隨著時光流逝，這個最初極其簡單卻極具創意的活動，已經逐步成長為集藝術、自由、創意與靈感為一體的國際平台。

火人祭的一切屬於每一位參與者；它是世界上最大型的戶外藝術活動及無痕活動；是所有夢想者、藝術者、創業者、表演者、思想者及行動者的一個廣闊的交流平台；是一座研究未來城市文化的實驗空間；數以千計的藝術與科技交叉陳列；它是一座由7萬人參與建造而成的臨時城市，並以迅雷不及掩耳之勢催生了全球各地的區域活動。這個讓你醍醐灌頂的火人祭現在來到了台灣！

From its humble beginnings on a San Francisco beach in 1986, through its annual blossoming in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, and now as an increasingly global platform for creativity and inspiration, Burning Man means many things to many people. The world's largest outdoor art event, and the world's largest leave no trace event, too. A meeting place for dreamers, artists, entrepreneurs, performers, thinkers, and doers. A laboratory for the future of urban culture. A showcase of interactive art and technology. A temporary city of nearly 70,000 participants, with regional events sprouting around the world. Burning Man is all of these things and more, and now it's taking root in Taiwan!
