Description

The purpose of this club is to discuss and protect the rights of neurological outliers. We want to protect the rights of the next Einstein, next Nicola Tesla, next Alan Turing, next Steve Jobs, next Elon Musk so these people face less discrimination when growing up. Many neurological outliers face significant discrimination all throughout their lives and many succumb from that trauma and we do not hear about them. Discussing and protecting the rights of neurological outliers would be very beneficial for society, since these people move the human race forward with large breakthroughs. When talking about the rights of any minority, the first step is always to openly discuss the life experience of the minority members, so their perspectives and challenges are understood. Because society is uncomfortable talking about neurological outliers, that step has not occurred for this minority. Consequently, most neurological outliers are misunderstood and mistreated. It is likely that for every Einstein we lose out on 5 others, because many geniuses are harmed, succumb under trauma, become disillusioned or lose the desire to help society, as they face prolonged discrimination. In the process society loses out on significant progress.
