This is a club for the A Cup of Risk podcast. Those of us who work in disaster risk management and those who face vulnerability - a determining component of disaster risk management - from the front lines in communities around the world. I think we can agree that there is certain formality and quite complex language when talking about this topic that makes it not accessible to the general public.

We would like to invite you to change this technical and formal concept with us through “A Cup of Risk”, a podcast to humanize the understanding of risk, vulnerability and resilience as components of development.

The premise is simple, let's have a pleasant conversation, like the one we would have over coffee, about your beginnings in disaster risk management, your experiences, and what makes you so dedicated to this matter. What is in your cup?
