ℹ️ Based in London – UK, The ItinerAnts dedicates all its work to reach underprivileged communities through the arts, working in refugee camps, centres for seniors, in the streets and courtyards of council flats, prisons, etc.
The ItinerAnts were born from the desire of professional artists to do theatre in unconventional places around the world and this became their way of living. They all use theatre as a means of communication and integration, of sharing a space and an expression with a regular or occasional public.

These artists regularly meet once or more during the year, travelling from afar, speaking different languages, communicating through what they are passionate about. Musicians, fine artists, theatre practitioners, dancers, work in harmony together to create transformation on territories often inhabited by neglected communities.

The ItinerAnts have performed for festivals and cultural events around the world and also dedicate their work to reach underprivileged communities through the arts. They have been working in schools, universities, centres for seniors, refugees camps, in the streets of cities and small villages and courtyards of council flats in the outskirts of towns in Europe, South America and South-East Asia.

Members of the group travel often to different countries of Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Denmark, Poland) in Brazil, Mexico and Asia (Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore) to reach people from different cultures and isolated communities.

Directed by Cinzia Ciaramicoli and supported from its very beginning by Rita Superbi, the group consists of actors, musicians and artists from the United Kingdom, Italy, Ukraine, Brazil and Malaysia.
