Yoshilog Live Space on Clubhouse

English version:
This club sometimes uses English only, and sometimes Japanese only. It’s an extension of the online community of Yoshilog Live Space, which is nestled on Keybase, emerging out of Twitter (@yoshilog). It has been discussing various social issues at open online meetups since May 2020. Topics that have been picked so far are the way of policy formulation when encountered with unknown enemies such as COVID-19; Trust and Power; Lovers in Grenoble; Ecology of Japanese Corporations; Drink, Design and Moda in Milano; Silence is Violence (BLM); Aizu Waro Method; Women and Work; Blockchain for People; Blockchain for Earth; At the Small Corner of This Divided World; Impeachment Trial etc.

海の向こうの話を筒抜けにしよう、風通しは良いけど、密度が濃い場を作ろうという、ちょっとした思いつきで始まったYoshilog Live も、はや10ヶ月。

その間に、当たり障りのないことを言って和むだけの社会生活に充足していない人々のコミュニティが緩く形成されてきた。当たり前の日常生活の中に、様々な意見を自由に、かつ安全に言えて、多様性が尊重される場が足りてないのだろう。Yoshilog Live Spaceはそういう場を提供したい。

世界で話題になっているが、日本では伝わらない、あるいは歪んで伝えられていることが多くある。市井の中の知性は世界と繋がることを求めている。人類史的なパースペクティブの中で現在を見ようとする人々がいる。そういう人たちが少なからずいると実感できたのは、Yoshilog Liveの大きな収穫だった。

Yoshilog Live Spaceは、海の外の世界とシンクロし、多様な思考を安全に交換できる場になり、開かれた世界を構築することを目指します。
Be kind, always: This is a safe and positive space. Negative energy is not welcome here. We aim to lift up other sapiens, not tear them down.
Don’t speak over others: This room is run “popcorn” style. When there is a polite pause, and another speaker has finished her/his thought, feel free to talk.
No pitching!: This is not a club for pitching. This is a space to collaborate, learn and share ideas.
