Members in this club know that politics can be better, and they have an inkling that they, in some way, are part of the solution.

On the playground, people are willing to dip their toes into the water of politics...to try out what it feels like to voice a political opinion...to get advice from experienced politicians about how to run a campaign or what it is like to serve in office.

If you have this curiousity that you might be able (and needed) to play a bigger role in the evolution of our system of government -- toward a more compassionate, open-hearted, inclusive and just system -- then this is your playground!

Put on your comfy clothes, your playground shoes, and get ready to play with some new friends who share your emerging sense of purpose.

The Political Playground was founded by Steve Tulowitzki - an elected official in his hometown of Munster, Indiana where he serves on the Town Council.

As a first-time candidate with no previous political ambitions or experience, Steve ran for this seat in November 2019 and unseated a 20-year incumbent from the opposing party. As a result, you need not have any political experience to contribute to the conversations we will hold here.

We are all starting somewhere -- wherever we are -- and we choose to be on the playground!
