How I read:

Envision being there and seeing it in the flesh, in your mind, and think that they, in the Bible, are your forefathers and you’re reading about your own family. Because you are.

Read and comprehend. When someone is speaking, think it in their voice like it’s a conversation, because the person writing is writing what they are hearing them say or what things are taking place.

Revelation 1:3
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

Nehemiah 8:8
“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.”
