Civic engagement is the first step to building better cities.📍Brampton is confronted by a range of issues from underfunded healthcare 🩺 to systemic racism🪢, from underrepresentation in our politics 🙋🏽‍♀️, to heavily policed communities👮.

🎓Did you know, Brampton is the only city of its size and population without a university?

⛑ Did you know that Brampton’s health care is chronically underfunded when compared to cities of its size in Ontario? No wonder then, we’ve experienced disproportionately high COVID cases among BIPOC here and immense stigma in the news 📰.

Civic action is here to facilitate conversations and empower local action to address these very challenging systemic issues. Housing 🏠, healthcare 🏥, women’s rights 🧕, abolition 🚨, opportunities for youth🗝, systemic racism 👳‍♂️, local economic development... whatever you’re passionate about, let’s talk about it.
