The Golden Age on Clubhouse

The aim of this group is to cover a range of age-related topics that educate and inspire people of all ages. The group name is contradictory as the philosophy here is there is no exact ‘Golden age’ but in fact we are all in different stages in our life journeys trying to figure sh*t out!
Another aim is to bridge the gaps in knowledge there may be between the younger and older generation. If you’re not Peter Pan you’re welcome to join.

No matter our age differences, lets all share our struggles, achievements, life lessons and more. Let’s share advice and experiences and help people who may be facing family/friends/societal prejudices because of their age. I (Cristina) am in an 18 year age gap relationship so am perfectly aware of negative stigma associated with ideals that go against social norms, but on the other hand know just how much we can learn from each other!

Topics of interest include but are not limited to: Age-gap relationships e.g. regular relationships (but also ‘unconventional’ ones such as sugaring), ageing concerns e.g. practicing self-love and ageism in the workplace, adulting e.g. school and work progression.

There is no unfair judgment: No one has walked in your shoes. Everyone’s opinions are personal to them and influenced by their life experiences. Not everyone will get along or agree but please maintain a level of respect. Thanks!
You do not talk about the golden age: Although we will be mostly covering age-related topics, members do not need to reveal their actual ages unless they want to. Do not pressure anyone to reveal their ages.
Honesty first : This is a safe place to speak your mind. However, if you cannot handle other people having opposing views this may not be a safe place for you. Although, bullying is absolutely not permitted.
