ABOUT:
The name ‘Itisu’ is a portmanteau of Sanskrit words iti (it is, thus) and su (good, powerful) and a play of words to mean ‘it is you’ which stands for a desire to share our journey towards sustainable clothing with you.

Itisu is a sustainable activewear brand works with the local artisans, Organic products and Ayurvedic dye.🌿 Nature friendly and People friendly✨

Itisu strives to incorporate materials and processes in its product designs which are environment and people-friendly. The most sustainable practices in manufacturing are the ones which employ the simplest of means to make the required produce. Going local with material sourcing has been one of the primary focus-areas. Itisu works with cotton and all natural ayurvedic dyeing process using an ensemble of plants and herbs. FOUNDER:
@manju_bargavi Manju Bargavi – an apparel designer by training, a performance artist, Bharatanatyam dancer, an RYS200 certified yoga teacher, amateur farmer and her partner Neeraj Nair – a renewable energy engineer who loves cross-country biking, have a shared love for nature and sustainable living. Their search for eco-friendly lifestyle is what motivated them to start Itisu.
