Ola ka ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i on Clubhouse

ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi is recognized as one of two official state languages in Hawaiʻi. This club is created to facilitate a safe place to learn, share, and give back to our makuahine, ka ‘āina.

The great aloha ʻāina Joseph Nāwahī once said, “ʻO wai kou makuahine? ʻO ka ʻāina nō! ʻO wai kou kupunawahine? ʻO ka ʻāina nō!” [‘Who is your mother? The ʻāina! Who is your grandmother? The ʻāina!’] This is the kind of relationship we have with land.

Let’s continue to grow our membership and invite more friends to kama’ilio and build pilina and community. Follow Malia, ‘Ekela, Mikiala, and/or Makana to get invited to the club. Every Thursday in May 2021 we will be hosting a room at 4pm HST
