Welcome to the house of the global community of People of African Descent (PAD). Our vision is to unite Africans, no matter where you are born or where you live today; we believe we can work together for our common good and the development of our mother continent. “Let us not allow the waters that divide us to be thicker than the blood that unites us”.

Africa is the second most populous continent with an estimated population of more than 1.2 billion people, and the population of young people is projected to double to 830 million. Also, over 210 million people of African descent live in many countries of the world, with the largest concentrations in Latin America and the Caribbean where estimates reach 150 million. There are obvious challenges but also great economic potential and a huge demographic dividend.

Imagine what can be achieved if we can harness the power of the global community. The African consciousness is awakening, and a new generation is emerging. If we succeed in building a strong global community, we can achieve an exchange of skills and know-how to turbo-charge development on the continent; more than money, this is what will accelerate development in Africa.

In this house, we focus on solutions; we want to explore policies and actions to drive progressive change for PAD and African; this will include the areas of good governance, economic advancement, emerging technology, young people, education, health; and much more.

If you are passionate about Africa and are willing to be a part of progressive change, then this is your community. We will speak; act and focus on things that uplift us and help to build the Africa of our dreams– the future of Africa must remain firmly in the hands of Africans.
