Description
Freedom from the prison of thought is only one thought away.
I have a dream.
My dream is the total transformation of the city in which I live.
A city known for its racism, bigotry, and hate.
A reputation of violence and chaos.
My dream is for Saint Louis, Missouri to be known as the most loving city in America.
A space of compassion and understanding.
Where every member of our community is seen, heard, believed, and valued.
This dream is only one thought away.
And as the community wakes up to thought, the path forward becomes clear.
The peace comes from within- a shining light that is shared.
It is not in some of us- but in all of us.
As we let our light shine, we give others the permission to do the same.
